Influencer Spotlight: Brea Davis

Paula Young, known for offering quality, affordable wigs and hair solutions, partners with content creators to share real stories about hair loss and confidence. Brea Davis, a neonatal nurse practitioner and mom of 4, has built a platform around her own hair loss journey, sharing honest insight with a community of women navigating similar challenges.
Life as a Busy Mom and Content Creator
Between her career and raising four kids, Brea’s life is anything but slow-paced. Her days are filled with sporting events, home projects and time outdoors wither her family – all while balancing her role as a content creator in the wig community.
“Our family is BUSY and truly toggle between sporting events, home projects and spending so much time outside,” Brea said. “Now that I’m slowly coming out of the having babies phase, I’m trying to incorporate more color into my life and wardrobe which is exciting!”
Navigating Hair Loss Through Motherhood
Brea’s hair loss journey began with thin hair that worsened through back-to-back pregnancies. An autoimmune condition later led to chronic telogen effluvium and androgenic alopecia, adding another layer of complexity to her life as a young mother.
“I still consider myself pretty young so trying to navigate motherhood while also trying to manage my hair loss isn’t ideal but truly I’m thankful for wigs!” Brea said. “Instead of dwelling in hair loss I get to put energy into finding beautiful wigs.”
Finding Wigs and Building Confidence
Before discovering wigs, Brea tried several other solutions – dermatologist treatments, medication and more – none of which felt right for her. It wasn’t until she came across a wig post on Instagram that her perspective shifted entirely.
“I started searching wigs on Instagram and came across a post of a 30 something woman in a wig and was like dang that looks great!” Brea said. “I jumped into the wig rabbit hole and 3 years later, I’m still in it!”
Discovering Paula Young

As Brea continued sharing her wig journey online, affordability became an increasingly common concern among the women in her community. That’s part of what made her introduction to Paula Young stand out.
“Paula Young is a new to me brand and truly, I’m impressed by the affordability,” Brea said. “As I’ve continued to share wigs online, cost has become more and more of an issue for ladies so having an affordable option can be game changing.”
Among the styles she’s tried, two in particular have stood out.
“So far Willows and Coastline have been winners,” Brea said.
Advice for Others on the Journey
Beyond product recommendations, Brea offers guidance for women just beginning to explore wigs, and for those learning to feel comfortable in them again.
“If you’re going to look into wigs, start with something similar to your bio hair on its very best day, opt for low density, and know you don’t have to spend thousands of dollars for a realistic and comfortable wig,” Brea said.
She’s equally candid about the emotional side of the journey, especially when it comes to reentering everyday life.
“My first venture out of the house was to the mailbox and it felt like a HUGE hurdle,” Brea said. “Slowly I got more adventurous, surrounded myself with more people, and eventually it started to feel more normal.”
Even years into her journey, Brea acknowledges that confidence isn’t always linear.
“There were times when I thought, this should be easy and I should be over this by now but that’s just how it is with hair loss and wigs,” Brea said. “It gets easier to accept but still ebbs and flows.”

Brea’s honesty about both the challenges and progress of her hair loss journey continues to resonate with women navigating their own paths – proving that confidence isn’t about perfection, but about finding what works and giving yourself grace along the way.
